Gaelic Games is taken by Mrs Gartland the P.5 teacher. In Gaelic Games we do Hurling, Camogie and Herogie. Hurling is the boy sport, Camogie is the girl sport and Herogie is for boys and girls.

During the year we have plenty of Hurling and Camogie matches but there is only one Herogie tournament a year. Practices for Gaelic Games are on a Thursday after school from 3:00pm until 4:00pm.

When we get down into the playground we start off with three laps or we do other running exercises such as jogging and running with our legs going a high up as they can.

Then we all get into a semi-circle and start stretching, every day a different person leads the stretching. After that we practice something like sticking or blocking. Then we will usually start a match and Mrs Gartland always chooses the teams fairly.
