Irish Dancing is on a Monday between 2pm and 4pm. Every Monday we go to Irish Dancing. The teacher's name is Catherine Flanagan, she teaches us how to do Irish Dancing.
Catherine is very nice to us and she teaches us lots of dances like the Waves Of Tory, The Easy Reel, The Hard Reel and we also do lots of group dances. Catherine is very good at explaining how to do these dances.
During the school year we have preformed our Irish Dancing. We had a Caeli day. All the classes preformed something to do with Ireland. There were Irish Dancers, Tin Whistle players and lots more. Everbody preformed something and Michelle and I put on Irish Dancing costumes and we preformed our "easy reel". We all had great time.
Before we begin our class we do a few warm ups. We jump up and down and then get in to twos and do our Easy Reel.
If Catherine wasn't our teacher I'm sure it would be a lot harder to learn all the dances and we wouldn't have as much fun!!
I love Irish Dancing and I hope to countinue it even when we leave St. Joseph's.
